## Summary

Prayer Audio Controller is designed to be private by default:
- Prayer times are calculated on your device. Your coordinates are never sent to our servers
- No browsing history, tab URLs, page content, form fields, or cookies are read or transmitted
- No advertising, no behavioral tracking, no analytics SDK in the extension
- The only data stored on our servers is your email address and subscription status

## Data we collect

### What you provide
- **Email address**: used for authentication and billing only

### What the extension collects automatically
- **Location (GPS coordinates or city search)**: used to calculate prayer times on-device. Not sent to Prayer Audio Controller servers. A one-time request to BigDataCloud may be made at setup to resolve your coordinates to a human-readable city name.
- **Session token**: stored locally in Chrome to verify your account access

### What we do NOT collect
- Browsing history
- Tab URLs or page content
- Form fields, passwords, or messages
- Cookies or session data from other websites
- Behavioral data or analytics

## How data is stored

**On your device (Chrome local storage):**
- Your city name and coordinates
- Your extension settings (calculation method, mute duration, offset, enabled prayers)
- Your session token

**On our servers (Supabase):**
- Your email address
- Your subscription status (trial, annual, or lifetime)
- Your subscription dates and payment reference

## Data retention and deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@prayeraudiocontroller.com. Local data stored in Chrome is removed when you uninstall the extension.
